Spanish football club FC Barcelona and Scotiabank have renewed their partnership agreement enabling the Canadian bank to serve as the regional partner of the football club.
The agreement extends the partnership tenure till 30 June 2026, covering the next four seasons.
Apart from Canada, FC Barcelona and Scotiabank will also continue to work together in several countries across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The two entities, who announced their first partnership in 2016/17 season, have jointly worked on several programmes to benefit Scotiabank customers and Barça fans across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Additionally, Scotiabank has also renewed its agreement with the Barça Foundation and the Barça Academy project.
Under the renewed deal, Scotiabank and Barça Foundation will take up initiatives to promote social inclusion in sports.

Further, Barça and Scotiabank will focus on development of co-branded products and new joint programmes with Barça Foundation.
The bank will also function as the key partner of two Barça academies and a partner of Barça Academy Camps.
The deal also requires Scotiabank to partner ‘Barça, The Exhibition’, the club’s travelling expo, in Latin America. FC Barcelona Sporting Area first vice president Rafael Yuste said: “We are very proud to renew and expand this collaboration with a partner with whom we have been running joint projects in the social field, one of the pillars that form part of our commitment, and which also showcase why we as ‘More than a Club’, having a positive impact on our environment through the positive values of sport.”
